Location: Fully remote, however must be based in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma 


Founded in 2014, GovInvest Inc. is a government technology leading the way in financial forecasting solutions for the public sector. We specialize in the components of the forecast that are most complicated and unique, specifically related to labor costing, compensation benchmarking, pension and OPEB liabilities. We pair our innovative software solutions with industry leading consultants who work closely with our clients to achieve their strategic objectives. GovInvest offers white glove service so that our clients are fully supported when developing strategic plans, presenting to Council, and complying with statutory requirements.

We are looking for an ambitious Account Executive to lead the charge of our Pacific Northwest region. This is a massive opportunity for someone to bring GovInvest (a well known and established software solution) to a new green territory with huge potential.

Job requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Build pipeline, close new business, attend and participate in various events, maintain client relationships.

  • Track and record metrics throughout sales process.

  • Meet and exceed revenue attainment goals and achieve standardized KPI's for activity and lead generation.

  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.

  • Ability to travel 25% within assigned territory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years (minimum) previous SaaS/software sales experience closing new business with a documented history of success.

  • Prior sales experience with financial or Public sector space is strongly preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and associated sales technology tools such as Outreach.io or Salesloft, Clari, LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Ability to provide a consultative approach to selling software and services.

  • Prior SaaS sales experience is required, if no GovTech sales experience

  • Public sector sales experience a plus, but not required
